The JBL ProFlora CO2 Basic Set U is the ideal solution to create a living, thriving planted aquascape. The ProFlora Basic Set U System uses the disposable JBL ProFlora CO2 Cylinder 500 U for ease of use but can be converted to a refillable system with the use of the JBL ProFlora CO2 Adapt U-M if required.

How it works:
The JBL CO2 Basic Set U System diffuses CO2 into the aquarium water providing plants with vital carbon dioxide which is the primary nutrient required for photosynthesis. Strong, healthy plant growth has many advantages including providing vital oxygen for aquarium inhabitants, reducing algae growth, removing pollutants, providing hiding places for fish and also reducing pathogens.

Easy to install:
The JBL ProFlora Basic Set U CO2 System comes complete and ready to use. Simply screw the pressure reducer onto the 500 U CO2 Cylinder, then connect the pressure reducer with the hose to the diffuser in the aquarium. The CO2 will then enter the aquarium and is dissolved in the water as it is released via the diffuser. The CO2 supply can be interrupted at night by adding a solenoid valve (not included) if required. The CO2 concentration within the aquarium water is checked via the CO2/pH permanent test included with the set and can be readjusted if required via the pressure reducer.

Safe:
The JBL ProFlora Disposable 500 U CO2 Cylinders are TÜV tested and come equipped with an over pressure relief. Thanks to the check valve no water can enter the cylinder. The capacity of a CO2 system depends on various factors. The carbonate hardness, the quantity and species of the plants and strength of the water surface movement are decisive factors, as well as the aquarium capacity. A 500g cylinder which is not switched off by a solenoid valve during the night lasts with its default adjustment for around 4 months.

Palletised Deliveries

Some large oversize products, typically items weighing more than 30kg, may require delivery via pallet and as such will arrive as a kerbside delivery only. The drivers in these instances are unfortunately not permitted to assist with the pallet beyond the drop off, and cannot aid in bringing packages into the property.

Pond Plant Deliveries & Surcharge

Pond plants are subject to a £5.00 delivery surcharge. Pond plants are sent directly from our supplier to make sure the plants you receive are fresh and in great condition. There is no limit on how many you can order for a single delivery charge. This charge is in addition to any other carriage costs for items sent directly from Pond Planet. Please allow 5 -10 working days for delivery.

Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Pond Planet, you may return the product(s) to us within 14 days of the purchase date for a refund or exchange.

Goods must be returned in perfect and unused condition, in their original packaging. The buyer must ensures that the goods are securely and adequately packed to avoid damage and the purchaser pays all postage costs. We recommend that products are returned by recorded delivery or by a carrier that requires a signature. Pond Planet accepts no responsibility for goods returned to us unless signed proof can be provided.
