The Heat Guard offers versatile installation options for UV, light, and/or heat sources in your terrarium, allowing you to position them optimally for your animals, such as in a designated basking area. The heat & UV resistant 5kv E27 pulse rated ceramic socket accommodates a Daytime Basking Spot, Night Heat Bulb, all-in-one Mercury Vapor Bulb, Ceramic Heater, or Carbon Heat Projector up to 160W. With a diameter of 14cm and a height of 20.5cm, the Heat Guard accommodates bulbs up to 13.5cm in total length, including the E27 lamp base.

Designed for quick installation and ease of use, this versatile accessory not only withstands high temperatures but also optimizes heat distribution, creating a safe and comfortable environment for your reptiles. Designed with ample space above the ceramic socket and a dedicated cable outlet, the Heat Guard fits seamlessly against the terrarium top, preventing any gaps where an animal could enter or squeeze between the guard and the terrarium.

The Heat Guard features a screw-in grill secured with two Philips screws, providing enhanced safety compared to spring-loaded or clip-on systems. Designed for convenience, the Heat Guard allows the protective grill to be easily removed by unscrewing just two screws, enabling quick and hassle-free bulb replacement without the need to detach the entire unit. The 5mm spacing between the metal wires of the protective grill effectively prevents animals from accessing the Heat Guard, while ensuring that light and heat rays reach the basking area unobstructed.

The light can be easily switched on and off by the ON/OFF switch mounted on the extra long 180cm power cord.

Palletised Deliveries
Some large oversize products, typically items weighing more than 30kg, may require delivery via pallet and as such will arrive as a kerbside delivery only. The drivers in these instances are unfortunately not permitted to assist with the pallet beyond the drop off, and cannot aid in bringing packages into the property.

Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Pond Planet, you may return the product(s) to us within 14 days of the purchase date for a refund or exchange.

Goods must be returned in perfect and unused condition, in their original packaging. The buyer must ensure that the goods are securely and adequately packed to avoid damage and the purchaser pays all postage costs. We recommend that products are returned by recorded delivery or by a carrier that requires a signature. Pond Planet accepts no responsibility for goods returned to us unless signed proof can be provided.
