2Hr Aquarist APT 1 is perfect for aquariums with more fish, fewer plants and is also ideal for new tanks less than 3 months old using an aquatic soil substrate. APT 1 delivers comprehensive nutrition without nitrates and phosphates for maximum algae control. APT 1 replicates APT 3's winning formula without nitrates and phosphates. This gives maximum algae control for new tanks, and optimal long term performance for tanks with more fish. This is because fish food and waste already supply phosphates and nitrates. The 2Hr Aquarist recommend all new tanks start with APT 1 for the first 1-3 months.

POWER
APT contains 5X the amount of Phosphorus (P) and 6X Potassium (K) per ml relative concentration when compared with a 50-year old European 'big brand fertiliser'. That is like having 5 shots instead of 1 in your morning espresso, if you are into coffee.

BALANCE
Simply 'more' is not necessarily better. Lower Nitrogen (N) delays chlorophyll production and induces richer colours, to a point. Nitrogen is also critical for plant metabolism. The APT formula pushes the boundaries of that trade-off, maximising colour before diminishing returns.

FORM
Similar to food labels, 20% protein or 1% Iron tells very little about actual absorbability rate, efficacy and impact. APT's components are up to 50X more absorbable, and accessible across a wider range of pH and other water parameters.

Palletised Deliveries
Some large oversize products, typically items weighing more than 30kg, may require delivery via pallet and as such will arrive as a kerbside delivery only. The drivers in these instances are unfortunately not permitted to assist with the pallet beyond the drop off, and cannot aid in bringing packages into the property.

Pond plants are subject to a £5.99 delivery surcharge. Pond plants are sent directly from our supplier to make sure the plants you receive are fresh and in great condition. There is no limit on how many you can order for a single delivery charge. This charge is in addition to any other carriage costs for items sent directly from Pond Planet. Please allow 5 -10 working days for delivery.

Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Pond Planet, you may return the product(s) to us within 14 days of the purchase date for a refund or exchange.

Goods must be returned in perfect and unused condition, in their original packaging. The buyer must ensure that the goods are securely and adequately packed to avoid damage and the purchaser pays all postage costs. We recommend that products are returned by recorded delivery or by a carrier that requires a signature. Pond Planet accepts no responsibility for goods returned to us unless signed proof can be provided.
